Our history
Pennore is Denmark's first and, reportedly, best platform for generating web content with Ai (artificial intelligence), ranging from ad copies, blog posts, and social media posts - to proofreading and translations.
Furthermore, for those who don't want to write themselves, Pennore offers the simplest platform for quick and affordable ordering of good web content.
It all started back in the spring of 2019 when Anders Grønborg, founder of Pennore, needed to have a series of web content written - content for the web portal Helpsoon, which had just launched. But when he searched on Google for help in writing the content, the places where such services were offered were, firstly, not particularly good - and secondly, it was far too expensive for a relatively newly established entrepreneurial company without significant capital injection.
Anders states: "There were many results, but what was shown, in my opinion, was very inadequate - and far from what I believe one should expect".
"Furthermore, the agencies where help with writing web content was offered were not particularly inviting and difficult to navigate - and only a few bothered to specify the cost of the work. In the rare cases where they did mention prices, they were too high, and only something that companies with several years of experience - or at least a solid financial foundation, could afford. This gave rise to the initial thoughts in my mind that it could be done much better, smarter - and above all, cheaper."
In August 2019, we started exploring the possibilities. The first outlines were drawn a couple of months later - for the new site,
which later became known as Pennore, for online ordering of web content.
The purpose was to create a place where small and newly established businesses could easily, effectively, and affordably order web content online.
The website was then developed based on previous experiences and needs, in terms of what it should contain and how it should function. "I also consulted my network on how such a site should work - and what it should cost," adds Anders.
The result was Pennore, where we launched the first "beta version" on Thursday, November 25, 2021. In September 2022, after many hours of testing and error correction, the first final version was deployed, and the first customers gradually came on board. The AI solution for generating web content was introduced in the spring of 2023.
Bonus info: The name "Pennore" is, by the way, fictional but derived from the Swedish word for writing tools - pennor.
